How do you scale a recruitment business?
Start with whether the business is organised enough to take people on at all. Is the desk set up, are the foundations and platform in place, and is there a real bar to entry? Most scaling pain comes from hiring who is available rather than who is right.
"One of the popular questions I get asked at the moment, certainly in the last 18 months, is I can't scale my company. I'm a solopreneur."
One of the popular questions I get asked at the moment, certainly in the last 18 months, is I can't scale my company. I'm a solopreneur. I'd like to grow my business.
I've tried to hire. It's been expensive and it's gone long. It's really, really common.
And the key thing there is are we organised, first of all, to take people on? Is there a desk set up? Is the platform and foundations of your business set?
And what's the bar to entry? Are we hiring the right people? Or are we just hiring who's available?
